I want to take 5 minutes to talk about something that has been on my mind yesterday and this morning.

So you know how when you are pregnant you have Maternity Shoot and you usually post the finished product on social media (not everyone, some people like to keep some things private) for everyone to "coo" over etc.

Why is it (and I feel like this myself too, it's not just everyone else) that when we get a Boudoir Shoot done that we feel so shame to post on social media? Like I know it's a very intimate experience, but I feel like it's something that we  should be celebrating. We are feminine, sensual and sexual beings and we should be proud of our bodies no matter shape, size, colour or ability. Also, it's totally ok not to share. But if someone did want to share as a way to empower the feminine, this should be applauded.

I really don't feel like a Maternity Shoot is that much different to a Boudoir Shoot - yes much more sensual and personal. 

In today's society, births are live streamed.....and that's ok.

So why not this????

Just something I have been thinking about.

I know everyone has their individual beliefs on this topic and whatever you decide to do it your choice. Some people are private. Some people aren't... But that's ok!

As part of my self love journey, I decided to partake in a Boudoir Shoot yesterday and can I just say. It was the most LIBERATING feeling ever!!! Like out of this world! I felt sexy and damn girl I flaunted it! The confidence boost it has given me! I so cannot wait for my reveal! 

I done mine through Bec-Kay Boudoir and the girls there are amazing and make you feel all the feels.

Just go do it girls! 

Even if you want to keep it private. Do it for you and no one else. You won't regret the experience!
